Course description:
The course aims to give an intodruction to copyright, including central concepts as originator, work, sole rights, duration of a patent, economical and ideal rights, quotations, reproduction of copies, communication to the public, performer, producer, publisher, and current issues associated to digital use and the internet. The goal is for the fellows to obtain understanding of their own role as originator, and when and from whom permission is needed if they want to make use of others works in their own artistic work.
