The performance tells the story of the runaway Reindeer Snoop Deer and his observations of life today.

Her point of departure is traditional - storytelling and yoik. But here Sara Margrethe Oskal combines it with her own poetry and her humor, and creates an exciting, funny performance.

The performance is in Sami with English translation and has its premiere 10 July during Riddu Riđđu.

The Riddu Riđđu has become one of the largest sami festivals and primary yearly festival for international indigenous peoples. The festival programme encompasses music, performing arts, courses, seminars, movies, children’s festival and youth camp. Riddu Riđđu 2008 will be from 9 - 13 July.
