Alternative funding
Candidates securing adequate funding from alternative sources can also apply for admission to the programme. This can be particularly relevant if an institution secures funding to establish a Fellowship from its own budgets. Other external funding may also apply.
Programme regulations also apply to these candidates. This involves a.o.:
-
Requirements for professional expertise and quality of project description must be equivalent to other applicants
-
A contract must exist between the candidate and one of the educational institutions in question
-
The Steering Committee decides whether a candidate will be admitted.
Applicants are expected to submit a realistic schedule for completion of the programme and confirmation of funding. Funding must be documented.
The Steering Committee may establish a separate participation fee for such candidates. Contact with the programme Operator before completing the application is recommended.
